Why does the SSD module sometimes experience speed reduction?
When used together with the PD module, the SSD module may throttle due to heat buildup. For transfers larger than 30 GB, we recommend using the SSD module on its own—and pairing it with the included USB4.0 short cable for optimal performance.
Can I charge my device and access the SSD through a single port at the same time?
Absolutely! When using the SSD module and PD module together, you can connect your device to the USB-C3 port on the SSD module to simultaneously charge your device and read data from the SSD.
Please note: The USB-C4 port on the PD module is for charging only—you cannot access the SSD through this port.
Why does the PD module fail to charge when used together with the SSD module?
If charging doesn't work or the hard drive isn't recognized, try unplugging and reconnecting the data cable on the device side. This simple step often restores both charging and drive detection.
Bricbloc modules are connected via pogo pins. Are the pogo pins corrosion-resistant, and what is their lifespan?
The pogo pins used in Bricbloc are manufactured by C.C.P. , a world-leading probe supplier, and are plated with 24K pure gold, offering excellent corrosion resistance.
Additionally, the pogo pins have undergone spring life testing and can withstand more than 10,000 mating cycles.
Is the magnetic attraction strong enough?
The magnets between modules provide a pull force of 2.5 kg, ensuring a stable connection that won’t easily come apart.
